A captain of a fishing vessel claimed his boat was fired upon during a naval exercise by the German and South African Navies.
Anthony Day said three shells landed about 15 to 20m in front of his boat. He added that his position at that time was 50 km from Denel missile testing range at De Hoop, where the exercise is taking place.
