Indonesian shipbuilding company PT Lundin Industry Invest is back in the news again. This time it wants to create a tank boat or fire support vessel for the Indonesian Navy.

The company, also known as North Sea Boats, unveiled the concept at the Asia Armored Vehicle (AVA) Conference in Jakarta on Apr. 28.

The X18 Tank Boat will have a 105 mm gun and can travel up to 40 knots whilst propelled by two water jets.

Once again, North Sea Boats will choose composite materials for its construction but the company has learn its lesson and will use non-flammable materials.
