Russia’s Radio-Electronic Technologies Concern (RETC) will incorporate technologies from the PAK FA fighter program and use it in the upgrading the avionics of the Tu-160M2 bomber.

Plan for an exhibit of Mitsubishi Zero fighter divides town

Residents living in the town of Toyoyama, Aichi Prefecture, Japan are split over a plan by the Aichi prefectural government to display a Mitsubishi Zero fighter as part of an aviation industry exhibit.

Some old folks are against the move as they had suffered during the Second World War then the government forced them to vacate their land and help construct the Imperial Army Air Service’s Komaki airfield.

Boeing assigns vice president of airplane development to oversee KC-46 program

Boeing’s new CEO Dennis Muilenburg has appointed Scott Fancher, vice president of airplane development, to oversee the troubled KC-46 aerial tanker development program.

It was Fancher who stepped into the 787 program back in 2008 and steer the development of the airliner out of trouble.
