The South Korean Navy fired warning shots at a patrol boat it thought was North Korean, it later turned out that the boat belongs to China.
During the Dec. 8 incident, the Chinese patrol boat was actually trying to crack down on illegal Chinese fishing vessels when it cross over a disputed maritime border between South and North Korea.
