Boomers to resume foreign port visits

The U.S. Navy has relaxed its rules to allow the Ohio-class ballistic missile submarines (SSBN) to make port visits in foreign countries.

USS Wyoming was the first boomer to do that when it made a stop in U.K. in September.

The Navy leadership decided that the new ruling will help lift sailor morale in the ballistic missile sub community.
