The Single Leg Bearing Range (SLBR) software gathers data collected by passive sonar and draws out the lines of sound geometries.

It took Benjamin Lebron two-years to develop the program, which can be run on any computer. He stated that his passion for graphics and web design was instrumental in helping him develop the software.

USS Fitzgerald began implementing SLBR during its patrol in 2015 and during that period, the destroyer was able to track “several real world contacts at an unprecedented proficiency.”
