The lone Royal Navy submarine without a name has been found

A Royal Navy submarine that was lost during World War 2 has been found by an Italian diver off Tavolara. HMS P311 is the only submarine in the RN’s service without an official name.

The boat was supposed to be officially assign the name Tutankhamen but never return from its patrol in the Mediterranean in early 1943.
