Thai military rejects U.S. request to station P-3C in Phuket to search for boat refugees
The U.S. Navy had dispatched a P-3C to Phuket, Thailand to participate in Exercise Guardian Sea, the U.S. government wanted the plane to remain after the exercise in order to search for Rohingya refugees. The request was rejected by the Thai military.

Egypt to place order for 46 MiG-29s
Russian newspaper Vedomosti says Egypt is expected to place an order for 46 MiG-29 fighters.

Did Israel offer the Iron Dome to Saudi Arabia?
A London-based Arab newspaper reported that Israel conveyed a proposal to provide Saudi Arabia with Iron Dome missile defense system via American diplomats.

40th anniversary of VPAF’s 935 Fighter Jet Regiment
Vietnam daily Tuoi Tre was allowed to visit the Vietnam People’s Air Force (VPAF) 935 Fighter Jet Regiment as the unit marked its 40th anniversary.
