Cameron dismisses U.S. Army chief’s concerns on defense spending cuts

British Prime Minister has responded to comments by U.S. Army chief of staff, Gen. Raymond Odierno, on cuts in defense spending.

Cameron said: “Britain has the fifth-largest defence budget of any country in the world and the second-largest in Nato. We are a very strong partner for the US. You can see that all over the world, but you can see that very specifically in Iraq.”
