Philippine court found U.S. Marine guilty of killing transgender woman

A U.S. Marine has been found guilty of killing a transgender woman by a Philippine court. Lance Corporal Joseph Scott Pemberton will have to serve between six to twelve years in jail.

Qadir anti-ship missiles handed over to Iranian Navy

A ceremony was held on Nov. 28 to officially hand over a batch of Qadir anti-ship missiles to the Iranian Navy. Defense Minister Brigadier Gen. Hossein Dehqan was there to witness the ceremony.

North Korea’s test of SLBM failed

North Korea attempted to test fire a KN-11 submarine-launched ballistic missile (SLBM) on Nov. 28 between 2:20 p.m. and 2:40 p.m. local time, however South Korea believes the test failed.

McCain called on Obama to sell more arms to Taiwan

U.S. Sen. John McCain and Sen. Ben Cardin have jointly sent a letter to President Obama, asking him to sell more weapons to Taiwan even if doing so brings “short-term tensions in (U.S.) relationship with China.”

China to establish first overseas military facility in Djibouti
