Sweden offered to produce Gripen in India
Visiting Swedish Defense Minister Peter Hultqrist has told his Indian counterpart Manohar Parrikar that Sweden is willing to produce the Gripen fighter in India if the jet is selected.

Royal Navy using drones to inspect its warships
The Royal Navy is carrying out a trail to use drones for inspecting hard to reach areas using HMS Diamond.
Inspection time has been cut to a matter of hours as the need for scaffolding, cherry-pickers and ladders diminishes.

Russian Su-27 made an unsafe intercept of USAF RC-135 for second time
Two weeks ago, a U.S. Air Force RC-135 was intercepted by a Russian Su-27 fighter over the Baltic Sea. However, the fighter approached the reconnaissance plane in an unsafe manner, an anonymous U.S. official said.

Raytheon completes lab testing of AMRAAM-ER
Raytheon is satisfied that the new AMRAAM-ER missile can be integrated with the existing NASAMS launcher. Raytheon is on schedule to flight test AMRAAM-ER before the end of the year.
