Enhanced F88 rifle gets second pass approval by Australia

Australia is one step closer to buying the new enhanced F88 for its Army after granting second pass approval for project LAND 125 Phase 3C.

The rifle contract is worth approximately $100 million to Thales Australia.

So far, the new rifle has been issued to the 1st Battalion, Royal Australian Regiment, last month as a precursor to introducing it to the entire Army.
