Philippine Air Force air battle managers controlled aircraft on board a USAF E-3

Air battle managers from the Philippine Air Force were able to controlled their aircraft from a U.S. Air Force E-3 Sentry AWACS for the first time during exercise Balikatan 2015.

The E-3 is from the 961st Airborne Air Control Squadron (AACS) out of Kadena, Japan.

Saudi Arabia to manufacture variant of An-32

Taqnia Aeronautics Co. and Antonov have signed an agreement to develop and manufacture a variant of the An-32 in Saudi Arabia.

The new An-132 will incorporate engines from Canada and avionics from Honeywell.
