Air battle managers from the Philippine Air Force were able to controlled their aircraft from a U.S. Air Force E-3 Sentry AWACS for the first time during exercise Balikatan 2015.

The E-3 is from the 961st Airborne Air Control Squadron (AACS) out of Kadena, Japan.

A F-16D from the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds team made an emergency landing at Albuquerque’s Sunport international airport on May 8.

The jet was on a training flight when it encounter engine trouble and Sunport was the nearest runway. It was later towed to Kirtland Air Force Base.

Oto Melara have unveiled 20 mm gatling gunship system for the C-27J at IDEF 2015 in Istanbul, Turkey.
